| Place pasta (food) in container. For convenience, we recommend placing container on counter near the stove. Do not place on the stove or near the edge of the counter. Not meant to be used on a burner or on a warm/hot surface as this can damage the unit. |

| Use a kettle to carefully pour boiling water into container. Fill container with water stopping approximately 1" from top while completely submerging the pasta (food). |

Helpful Hint:
Warm up the container first by filling
with hot tap water. Let it stand for a
few minutes then empty. This keeps
kettle water hot longer resulting in
faster cooking times. |

| Secure self-straining lid on the container. Press down to snap and lock in place. |
|
| Add thermal lid to straining lid, turn clockwise down to lock. (Lid handle will point to tongue on straining lid when locked.) TO REMOVE: grab handle turn counter-clockwise and pull up. |

| Use protective thermal wrap to prevent burns from hot water. Wrap sleeve tightly around Pasta Express as shown. Secure protective thermal wrap using fastener strip. |

| Wait approximately 7–10 minutes depending upon desired tenderness. Due to individual taste cooking time may vary. (Consult pasta/food package for recommended cooking times.) |

| Remove thermal lid only (Hold the container upright on counter, grab handle turn counter-clockwise and pull up to unlock.) and strain hot water slowly to avoid any splashing. Press upward on tongue with thumbs. |

| Place on countertop or flat surface. With thermal wrap protecting hands, firmly grasp Pasta Express unit with both hands as shown and carefully push upward with both thumbs on tongue of lid. Pour out pasta (food) into serving dish. |
